Himesh Reshammiyas next is Essel Visions Heeriye

The multitalented Himesh Reshammiya, whose last release The Xpose struck gold at the box-office, will now be seen collaborating with Zee Entertainment Enterprises Ltd. (ZEEL) for the first time for their film called Heeriye. Besides being the film's music composer, the film will be jointly produced by his company Himesh's HR Musik alongwith Essel Vision. While Himesh will be seen as the film's main lead, the film's makers are launching a massive and innovative worldwide campaign called #FindingHeeriye. The film, which is being directed by the critic-turned-director Vishal Mishra, will see Tigmanshu Dhulia in a pivotal role. Speaking about their association with Himesh's company, Akash Chawla, (Business Head-Essel Vision), said, "It's a beautiful love story with a relevant social message. The film requires a fresh face to play the title role opposite Himesh. We'll soon introduce the format for which we'll use the digital assets of the company to implement this hunt and create an easily accessible platform to discover young talent." Meanwhile, Vishal Mishra said, "It's a pleasure to have one of the biggest media houses of India backing my maiden directorial venture. It's a unique love story woven in the current social scenario." Akshay Kumar - Sidharth Malhotra starrer Brothers to be first film under Dharma - Fox deal

Earlier this month, we had reported that Karan Johar's Dharma Productions would soon be entering a six film deal with Fox Star Studios. Though an official announcement on the same is still yet to come, we hear that the first film under this deal will be the Akshay Kumar - Siddharth Malhotra starrer Brothers, which is a remake of the Hollywood film Warriors. Though the production house has refrained from commenting on the same, we also hear that Dharma is looking at a much bigger international release for their forthcoming films and hence has tied up with Fox to recreate the success of their previous venture My Name Is Khan. Omung Kumar's directorial venture Mary Kom that released in 2014 featuring Priyanka Chopra received a lot of accolades. The film that was based on the life of Indian pugilist by the same name won critical acclaim not just for its story but also for Priyanka's portrayal of the boxer. Now we hear that the makers of the film have an added reason to smile as Mary Kom was honoured at the Stockholm Film Festival. In fact Mary Kom was named best film at the Stockholm International Film Festival Junior in Sweden. This week Deepika Padukone's character will perform an elaborate Kathak dance number in front of Ranveer Singh's character for Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Bajirao Mastani, although Ranveer is Missing In Action. The song to be shot over the next week would stretch into a good 7 minutes of non-stop dancing by the indefatigable Deepika Padukone. Says a source close to Sanjay Leela Bhansali productions, "The last time Deepika danced for Mr. Bhansali, she created magic in the garba dance number 'Nagara sang dhol'.
